Section 5.1 - Proof

Note: We will talk about B7 for sure, so you can do that one in class if you like. It's actually
easy if use the contrapositive.
THIS ASSIGNMENT IS WORTH 15 POINTS! (That's almost 3% of your final grade!)
There are only two days left of the semester, here's what we'll be doing:
Wednesday: Handing back Chapter 4 exam and discussing the homework problems YOU did on section 5.1,
and talking about WHY we do proofs.
Friday: Answering questions from the old spring 2008 final...available as two links below. (The
first link is the missing front page, and the second is the rest of it.) Study this exam and your old exams and
you should be fine for the final on Monday at 4 in the same room.
